Major in Data Analytics in Business. This master's study gave me a lot of chances to learn different analytics skills, from Excel, Python, SQL, LIWC, Tableau, HDML, and KNIME. Within this 1.5-year study, I completed over 20 projects from case studies to real-world business reports. I demonstrated some of the projects on the 'My Projects' page.
When doing this degree, I realised what I am really good at, which is based on the analysis result to provide findings as well as solutions/recommendations. In most of the assignments, I received D and HD, especially in the recommendations parts. In one of the courses, our group project received the top 5% result and was invited to join the Competition.
2018-2020
RMIT University
Studying in Melbourne, Australia. Had an International Business major and 2 minors in Marketing and Business Information Systems.
International Business major offered me a lot of business understanding, especially in corporate sustainability. It provided a broader point of view when I considered the business case.
Marketing is what I am passionate about. This minor provided integrated marketing communication experience and a lot of practical marketing projects. It offered me a creative mindset and how to put myself in customers' shoes to provide the best marketing strategy.
Business Information System is what I am afraid of. Coding was my biggest shortage and resistance. But I chose this minor to overcome difficulties and make up for my lack in Information Technology. I learned how to manage a database through MySQL, learning how to do project management with Gantt charts, and how to use different analytical tools to analyse business problems. I became a peer mentor in the Data Analytics course and supported students to learn in this area.
2016-2018
Feng Chia University
Started my university study in Taiwan, learning business knowledge from different areas. Included statistics, economics, accounting, marketing and consumer behaviour in English. In these two years of study, I had a lot of debates, innovation projects, and presentation experiences. At the end of the study, I became a graduate representative of our department.
